Policy Forum

The New Mexico Society of Association Executives hosts Policy Forums as a unique opportunity for association leaders and government affairs professionals to engage directly with elected officials and key policymakers, including cabinet secretaries and agency leaders, in a small-group, roundtable setting. These forums are designed to build relationships, foster collaboration, and explore how associations and policymakers can work together to move New Mexico forward.

Held outside of the legislative session, each Policy Forum features a guest policymaker who is invited to speak for 15–25 minutes about their background, current policy priorities, and key initiatives. The remainder of the time is dedicated to an open, roundtable-style discussion, allowing attendees to ask questions, share insights from their associations, and explore opportunities for partnership on shared goals.

Policy Forums are open to all NMSAE members and offer a valuable space to connect across sectors, strengthen advocacy efforts, and amplify the collective voice of New Mexico’s association community.

The Policy Forum is a complimentary, member-only program.
